Hmmm…. Its been awhile since I played, but if I remember right, the only raptors around level 12 are in the Barrens, a Horde area. If you really want one (I wouldn’t recommend spending that much time to get to it) you’ll have to make your way to the southern tip of Eastern Kingdoms. The town will be called Booty Bay and there is a ship there that will take you to Ratchet, which is right in the Barrens. From there, just head west until you run into some raptors.
