Can i put my pads in the washer…if so which ones?

Shin Pads?
And shoulder pads?
Most of all the pants?
How can i clean them?
Between games, you should wipe them down with a wet paper towel first, then use Febreeze to spray on them to get rid of the odor. Then let them dry (I don’t recommend outside because leaves and stuff could get onto your pads and stick to them because they’ll be wet). You should be good to go!
I don’t recommend putting them in the washing machine. It could mess up the washer because they’re so bulky.
In the offseason, you can put them in the bath tub and give them a real good wash or spray them with a hose. Or buy one of those steam machines and steam clean it.

I work in a jail and, seeing as jails aren’t known for cleanliness, I’d like to wash my duty belt and all the accessories. Its all nylon, but I don’t know if I can put it in the washing machine. Any tips would be great.

I have a acu uniform and i was going to get the acu tactical vest, but i just got a air force BDU so should i get the acu vest still? Will the acu camo work with the BDU?(They are both made for the same enviroment)
It sounds like you might be doing paint ball or something similar. And, I assume that you really mean the Air Force ABU, since they use the same basic colors, just in a different pattern
Using one type of gear with the other type uniform is of no issue for what i think you are doing.
The Air Force Security Force guys here on our joint base use a lot of Army ACU pattern gear on their vests because the stuff is simply not made in their ABU pattern. Unless you look closely at their kit, you can’t even tell that they are mixing and matching.
Neither the ACU or ABU pattern uniforms or gear will go with the BDU woodland pattern.
All this said, in reality the ACU and ABU patterns are the worst possible camouflage for almost all environments. I would just go with the old BDU woodland or the new multicam.

what is the best sewing machiene to use on leather & heavy canvas webbing.?
After reading your thread I decided to drop yo a line. I have two sons serving in Afghanistan as medics in the RAMC. They both carry in excess of 90 Lbs in kit I have started to buy heavy duty webbing straps & reinforce the same with strands of leather. I have to do all of this using a hand punch & Cobblers thread. As both my sons carry medic packs which add to the weight of the kit they carry it is a problem. Is there a good sewing Machine that can cope well with the demands of sewing multiple layers of leather & webbing layers (pouches) and to reinforce the belt kits they need to carry to aid their injured comrades in theatre. The “issue” packs are simply not up to standard as they rip its like putting a weeks shopping in a bag made from toilet role. as one of my lads said. So, can you please help. I will admit to having little experience with heavy usage of sewing machine’s.
Nothing but a cobblers machine will go through multiple layers of leather and/or canvas. Have you tried the backpack materials? They don’t weigh s much as leather but are quite heavy duty and it would be easier and cheaper to make them repeatedly from that fabric. You might ask a local shoe repair guy if he has an old machine you can buy or if he can order you one from his wholesaler. If you tell him what it’s for he might give you a deal or possibly even for free. It’s worth a shot anyhow!
