What are some reasons a wolf might get “kicked” out of the pack?
I just weatched a documentary on wolves and it stated that lone wolves are usually those who have been “kicked” out of a pack. They are pack hunters and this particular lone wolf attacked a human out camping. It said that lone wolves have a harder time hunting and needs to find weaker and smaller prey.

A lot has to do with behavior. Mostly disrespecting the Alpha female wolf or alpha male wolf is a big no no. Another thing they just cant get a long with others. Wolves are very social animals and have a hierarchy and if one cant get along especially with the alpha female or male out it goes. Food too. Inability to make (help) make kills (can’t) perform is another reason. Or just came from another pack but well things just did not work out. Or the wolf has been there for a while but has one heck of a nasty attitude. One thing for sure the pack WILL protected its own, the real members of the pack. Picks out the weak and the traitors and will send them packing.

what is the best sewing machiene to use on leather & heavy canvas webbing.?
After reading your thread I decided to drop yo a line. I have two sons serving in Afghanistan as medics in the RAMC. They both carry in excess of 90 Lbs in kit I have started to buy heavy duty webbing straps & reinforce the same with strands of leather. I have to do all of this using a hand punch & Cobblers thread. As both my sons carry medic packs which add to the weight of the kit they carry it is a problem. Is there a good sewing Machine that can cope well with the demands of sewing multiple layers of leather & webbing layers (pouches) and to reinforce the belt kits they need to carry to aid their injured comrades in theatre. The “issue” packs are simply not up to standard as they rip its like putting a weeks shopping in a bag made from toilet role. as one of my lads said. So, can you please help. I will admit to having little experience with heavy usage of sewing machine’s.
Nothing but a cobblers machine will go through multiple layers of leather and/or canvas. Have you tried the backpack materials? They don’t weigh s much as leather but are quite heavy duty and it would be easier and cheaper to make them repeatedly from that fabric. You might ask a local shoe repair guy if he has an old machine you can buy or if he can order you one from his wholesaler. If you tell him what it’s for he might give you a deal or possibly even for free. It’s worth a shot anyhow!

Would a 28x32cm shoulder bag be suitable for university to carry this stuff?
I’d want to carry sheets of paper for notes in and possibly a laptop. Would this size shoulder bag suffice or should i look for something a little bigger?
I’m trying to get an idea to whether the bag is big enough in relation to general shoulder bags.
Too small for the laptop, most laptops are 13inches plus, most are around 15.
