It is stormy out right now in Southern California and I was wondering which type of pellet I should buy and shoot for the next time it is stormy out,like today. Rain and wind abound. a high power pcp(sumatra, airforce condor) with really heavy pellets(eujins, kodiaks, predator big boys)! the heavy pellets would be effected less by the weather and you need the power to move them at a fair speed! i wouldnt shoot heavy or light pellets in a spring gun, it can damage the spring!

i’m looking to buy a telescope for a fun hobby on the side. i’ve been eying this NexStar 60SLT Computerized Telescope and like someone that is pretty familiar astronomy to give me a feedback on this type of scope. is it a good starter scope and can i take digital pictures with this type of scope?

It should be real easy to spot over the next day or two as it will be very near the bright star Regulus, in Leo. Simple binoculars will work fine. Note that Saturn is in Leo too, don’t confuse it with Regulus. It will be up pretty much all night. It will be low in the East just after it is dark, waiting untill about 10:00PM (your local time) or so will be best as it will be higher.
