how to properly store a gun?
ive got 3 surplus rifles and i leave them in the cardboard boxes they came on with oil on all the metal or i put them in padded cases. when stored they are always locked and i don’t have children…and if i have friends over i have my guns locked away…but i hears that the papdded cases absorb the oil…how should i store it to prevent rust in the barrel and on the reciver bolt ect….to keep it in the best condition possible
i cant afford a gun safe…ive been checking on craigslist for a good used one ……..
If you can’t afford a safe buy a dehumidifier to put in the room that you store them in.
