Glock or Baretta ?
My personal and duty weapon when serving as a cop for my city is a Glock model 31 in .357 SIG. I also shoot on my Air Guard units pistol team – M9 otherwise known as the 92F.
I’ll take the Glock any day. Far more durable, fewer moving parts, easier to maintain. There is also far more after market parts for them. You can change the springs and trigger pull if you think it is too heavy.
Problem I had with the 92F durability is that the barrels often get loose, at the muzzle end of the slide, even when in battery. This makes for some large groups and missed head shots when shoot an EIC course of fire. We can’t customize these weapons in any way. We draw them right out of the armory (same one every time) and you don’t know how many rounds have been put through that thing by trainees inbetween our matches.
