Am I being way too picky? New glasses have little marks on lenses?
Got high index lense with teflon coating, anti-glare, anti-reflective bi-focal. Noticed first time, first day I wore them & had to clean them because of smudging–little tiny marks on the lenses(more on left than right) that didn’t come off when cleaning. I was very careful & only used the cleaning cloth glasses came with. Is it just not possible to get brand new glasses with PERFECT lenses?
Call them or take your glasses in to the office for them to see for themselves. It is possible you are seeing the progressive markings with are etched into the lens with a laser (if you have no-line bifocals) But you need to at least call them. Brand new lenses should not have ANY scratches on them at all and if they gave them to you scratched, then you need to tell them so they can replace them right away.
