quad core is worth the extra cost?
I buy a new computer to use for general purpose commands … E-mail web browsing, games … My usage patterns are often described as "user" because they have multiple applications (5 to 10) and operated at the time I flip to the whim takes me … music player, video player, web browser, some programs such as Office, perhaps even a game or two … Anyway … I selected all the details you want for the PC (64-bit operating system, lots of RAM, lotsa mid-range video card), but I'm dithering on the CPU … my choice of database is a dual core 2.8 GHz or more than 50 bux, a core of 2.7 GHz Triple … or 150 Bux, quad-core 2.6 GHz … The main questions: Is the triple core Quad is worth the extra cost? If you think yes, please explain why … uscgoccifer Hey … Try not to be so thin skin … This guy is a JOKE. 
The quad-core worth it, as it increases its power exponentially, not only now, but when it slows down the road. All teams slow time to buy one that is fast in 20 years. Multitasking requires a lot of power, and the nuclei suggests that the work can be shared between them. It is certainly worthwhile. Believe me when I say I love you each and every one of my four cores.
