I’m trying to find out the diameter of a body mount bolt for an ’02 Chevy Blazer.?
I need longer ones for a lift and I’m trying to figure out what I need. I think they are grade 5 but I don’t really know what that means
Your lift kit should include grade 8 bolts. The grading of bolts determines there tensile strength, meaning, how strong they are. Just about any auto parts supplier can look up the size/diameter of the bolt your needing. Suspension parts take a lot of abuse so you need to use the best quality parts if for nothing else than safety. Get on line an look up bolt grading. It will give you a chart showing the marking on the bolt heads that indicate there strength.
Be sure you know what your getting into before beginning your Blazer lift. A lots involved, take your time, investigate, ask questions BEFORE you start any major modifications.
