How do you get the stink out of Skunk Fur?
I recently found a skunk dead in the road in front of my house. I took it in. I donno if I want to mount it or make a skunk skin cap like daniel boon. Please let me know how I can get the stink out of the fur and also maybe advice on whether to mount it or make a skunk skin cap.
I would go with the hat as it would be a unique asset to your wardrobe collection.
Perhaps try tomato juice, salt and vinegar to remove the smell. Let it breath outside for a while. You don’t want that in your house.
