How can you tell if the bullet is a reload?
I want to go to a trade center by my house that does hunting items and ammo once a month to look at their prices for ammo for a 40 caliber. Is there a way to tell if the ammo i am looking at is a reload or a manufacturer bullet?
Also what is a better brand of bullet for target bullets Federal or winchester? and why?
Remanufactured ammo for resale has to be marked that way by law.
You have to be licenced to reload for resale. Most LEO’s buy remanufactured ammo for qualications and practice… it’s manufactured on production machinery so –other than the re-cycled brass it’s “new’.
When you say “target” are we competing or busting cans at the gravel pit? If I was shooting sanctioned competion I’d roll my own… if I am shooting for fun…whatevers on sale. FMJ is FMJ (except for the steel cased Com-block stuff)
