Darker dyed hair on the under layer and lighter on top? What is it?
I’ve seen a lot of girls with the under layer(s) of their hair dyed a dark color, like dark brown or black, and the top layers of their hair dyed a lighter color. I really like it and I was thinking about doing it but I really want to know the name of this style. I know my hair dresser would know what I’m talking about but I want to search on the Internet to see if I can find a style I really like. I heard it’s called a Halo style but I’m not really sure that my source was credible. Please help!
It’s called two-tone/two-toning.
Just explain the style to your stylist and they’ll understand… It’s a really popular style.
I’ve got my hair the same way, except the top’s black and the bottom’s blonde. I get a lot of compliments on it.
