Looking at building a log home. What can I expect to pay?
I am looking to have a log home built this spring. I have talked to Amerlink, and they seem like a good company, although they supply only the materials. Does anybody know what the typical cost of a log home runs (materials and labor)? I was told approximately $100 per square foot, but that seems pretty high.
don’t buy the logs from one party and have another build it. you are asking for trouble. if anything goes wrong they blame each other. has to be done by one company responsible for entire structure and it warranty. diff. type of wood changes cost also. so if the only supply the logs they are out. unless you want to build it yourself.
