How do you reset a Bushnell scope to factory setting?

If you mean to reset the windage and elevation adjustments (the knobs you can turn), then its pretty easy but time-consuming. Turn one of the dials all the way in one direction. You will see the knob/dial physically raise or lower depending on which way you go. Make sure it won’t turn any farther, but don’t turn it if you are not hearing the clicks. Then turn it all the way back the other direction, slowly, and count the clicks you hear. Go slow and be as accurate as you can. Say it goes for 50 clicks, maybe its 200 – it depends on your scope. Once you get all the way, and have counted them accurately, then divide that number by two and turn the dial back that far. That will put the reticle back to the center. Say you count 100 clicks – end to end. So you turn the dial back 50 clicks. Do the same for both dials (windage and elevation). This is called mechanical zero. Your scope is ‘reset’, but of course that doesn’t mean it will shoot accurately. You’ll still have to make the necessary adjustments.
