conceal and carry pistol?
i recently purchased springfield xdm as my first handgun. i love it. only have a couple hundred rounds in it. this weekend i am purchasing a beretta 92fs.
in a couple weeks i am taking my conceal and carry course and then i will be able to carry in minnesota. i was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on a good gun for carrying? im kinda looking at the springfield sub-compact or maybe the walther pps. also, anyone have a crossbreed iwb holster? ive heard good things about them and will probably be purchasing one unless i hear otherwise.
The new PPs is great, but Im a .45 guy. Kimber Ultra Carry 2, the XD series, or you could always go with the classic snub-nose .357. Its all about what you enjoy to shoot, so stick with what you know. Where I live I have 8000 acres of property, and I carry around my Taurus .17 HMR Tracker. Great snake gun, and it suits my needs. I dont have my concealed carry, but Im looking at getting mine here in Texas. I have shot the XD .45, Ultra Carry 2, and the PPs .40. Im a huge fan of walthers guns, they just feel right in your hand. And the PPs is so small and light, I could see this gun being a winner if you like 9mm/ .40. Too bad they dont make it in .45 acp. The Ultra Carry 2 is the way to go if you have the cash because its a Kimber, and if you’ve shot one, you know. Ever consider the Taurus Milenium pistols? They make a full range of them from .32 to .45, and Taurus is one of the best pistols for the price. I hope that helps in your search for the right gun.
