Choice of 44 Pistol Mag
Recently asked about the achievement of protection against bears, while backpack. I have a lot great response and decided the Mag 44 is the way forward. Now what should I choose? S & W 629, 329 or the Ruger Super Blackhawk 29 \ Redhawk Magnum investigation I know a lot of Magnum Research firearms. You, from Alaska, what are you? Thanks for all these answers!
All options are good, but personally I have heard bad things about the S & W 29 and 629. A guy I know said managers were not made to handle the power of the MAG .44 and disintegrates after a few hundred rounds. They are a big weapon, I have not used one, I'm not nocking Smith and Wesson, but that's exactly what I heard, and that's all I can say from my knowledge. The Ruger Super Blackhawk is a very good hunting weapon, but not for personal defense is as good as the Redhawk. Most people can not fire a single action as quickly as a double action. You may want to consider getting the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan .44 Magnum model. This is a 2 1 / 2 "double-barreled action, and I know that some people who have and absolutely love it. I know a guy who bought a Redhawk before going to the sell-off of the fly (I'm very jealous of the money that's IT) and had 7 1 / 2 "barrel chopped to 4" and said he had a chance to repeat, there would be 454 more bears because it just stopped. Magnum Research makes a big gun automatic loading. I have not used one or know someone who has one, but I've read good things about them online. They come in a variety of sizes and all are intended to leave everything you target barrel. You can not go wrong with it and if you do, please send me an email to tell me what you think. All options are great, but some are better in some aspects than others. For personal protection, while the backpack, I would go with the Ruger Redhawk or Super Redhawk as I mentioned. Both would a good choice because Ruger manufactures a durable product with a capital D. I have another sujestion can consider what a little harder to find in a local gun shop or pawn shop, run a slightly higher price, but are readily available online. Recently bought a LAR Grizzly Mark I, 45 Winchester Magnum. Length barrel is 6.5 ", power, precision and range of gunfire from .44 Mag water, but not cheap. These are semi-automatic rifles come with a magazine series 7, 8 round combat load, and are improving the 1911th M1 last room. 39 of its 49 parts are interchangeable with the Colt Gold Cup, and sustainability of the beast, this is far greater than any other car what I saw.
