Ghillie Rifle Wrap for airsoft gun?
I want to get a cheap or make a cheap and easy Ghillie Rifle Wrap. Whats to best way to make it and how. Or where is there a place that has a cheap good woodland ghillie rifle wrap? I looking for one around $20-30. This is for airsoft.
The cheapest way is to get a couple of pair of tube socks, preferably black (you can die them or paint them), cut out the toe and sew them together to make one long tube (you’ll be raiding your mom’s sewing kit). Then go to your local craft store and ask them for burlap. If you have a farm/farm stand around by you they may have some old burlap potato sacks. Cut the burlap you get from the craft store or the burlap bag into strips (don’t cut them evenly, make them unequal lengths and widths). Paint the strips with some flat olive drab green and flat black paint. You can then sew the burlap strips on to the socks or if you are lazy you can use a hot glue gun.
If you can get the burlap sack from the farmer/farm stand it will probably be free or just a couple of bucks. The paint will run you about $3.00 a can (buy the cheapest flat paint you can find). The socks you can either die or paint with your cheap spray paint and the sewing of the socks together will cost you nothing. Sewing the painted burlap onto the long sock will also cost you nothing. So the entire project can literally be done for $6.00, time and effort.
