, 44, a range of magnitude 7.5-inch Ruger Super Redhawk?
I recently bought a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Mag (7.5 inch barrel). Out of the box a day later, I dropped by 6 point Buck 130 books from 30 yards with open sights. I wondered, What is the real (kill) to hear this 50 meters with loads of big game, or 240 and more. I am using 250 grains of platinum tips. Did the factory reset to 50 or 100 meters. I am curious if someone can explain to me respect. For example, if delivery of zero to 50 meters, they should be able to point towards flat on a goal from 50 yards and say a 250-grain bullet, click in the relatively dead right and center? It may also suggest the series more accurate for this particular piece as the power and accuracy goes, I hunt deer with it now and my most frequent range is between 0 and 50 yards. Thanks a lot guys
Depending on who you read, the maximum effective range of 44 mag is 50, 100, 125 or 200 yards. Real significance is what you feel comfortable in making a clean kill with your gun. The .44 shoots flat for 50 yards and zero drops only a couple of inches of 100. It works with almost half the initial energy of a 30/30, but 44 are killed a deer, if the ball goes in the right place. Accuracy is more evidence of a variable small arms. The incorporation of an optical viewfinder in Redhawk increase their range and precision. Check the links and good aim.
