Would A M249 Para Saw Be Okay For My Deputies?
Hey I am the sheriff of a small department and certain sensitive facility is located near us. In the event of an incident my deputies would be the first to respond. We need firepower and lots of it because we only have a few deputies on duty and it is a very rural community. The facilities security has tons of weapons but I am worried due to the fact our deputies may be fifteen minutes away from any backup. Federal assets would take too much time to respond.
I was thinking a PARA SAW with a collapsing stock, aimpoint sight, surefire flashlight. I’m guessing we would mount these weapons near the driver next to our colt 6933′s that our deputies also carry.
The M249, Squad Automatic Weapon, is over kill for sheriffs deputies.
I am in the U.S. Army Infantry and yes everyone of our assault squads carries two but we don’t run around righting speeding tickets. We kill terrorists who travel in large numbers and carry big guns.
