can I convert a light filtering r.blind to blackout?
I’m sure I have seen or read that I can ‘paint’ a product on to a red fabric roller blind to make it ‘blackout’ I cannot buy pillarbox red ones so need to convert the ones I have. I cannot afford designer prices for the short time I need them.
Sure you can convert them. All you need do is spary paint them with black paint. You can use fabric floral spary which you will find at hobby stores. This kind of paint won’t crack or peel off the fabric. It is also relativley inexpensive and drying time is just 15 minutes! Get black and put on 2 or 3 good coats. Lay your blind flat to do this.
