Is there any way at all I can make a curtain longer so it fits the whole window?
There is a set of two curtains in this antique shop that are so georgus and would go with my room perfectly.
one of them is a fine size to fit my small window. But the second one is 45 cm’s too short. Is there any way I can lengthen this one?

Yes, the hem suggestions are good but there may not be enough fabric to extend coverage to the whole window. One thing I’ve done before is to add “tabs” to the curtain and additionally add a valance, scarf, or draping effect to hide the “fooler” technique. This will trick the eye into thinking that the curtain is the right length and create a dynamic look.
You will need to make or purchase an additional valance, scarf, or some coordinating fabric or lace (panel) to create your new look.
1. Sew loops to the top edge of the vintage curtain so that the bottom of the curtain can reach to the bottom of your window (or thereabouts–wherever you would like the curtain to fall). Use the tabs to hang the curtain on the rod on the INside of the window frame. You can use an adjustable tension rod for this.
2. On the outer window frame, on another curtain rod, use a coordinating fabric, purchased valance, or a large panel of lace (since they are vintage curtains, this might be a nice look) as a scarf or draping feature. It’s kind of a “cheater” method, but no one will know what is going on under that valance. Oh, the valance is supposed to extend past the tabs on your curtain to hide them.
Unless someone looks very closely at the outside windows at the top, they won’t see the cheater look that you’ve created. If they do, who cares, your windows will look great inside.
If you don’t sew, not to worry, you can even use pins to pin the tabs, or iron on bonding or velcro.
