How do you cover with burlap & paint styrofoam duck decoys?
Any help is appreciated. I want to cover some styrofoam duck decoys with the hard burlap shell and then paint them. Herters does this, but I hear that a guy can do this himself. How is it done? Are there some cheap paints that match a mallard paint scheme? Do you know of any websites that can help?
Honestly, you would be better off just buying them. Just repaint your styrofoam dekes with decoy paint. You can get it from Cabela’s (they own Herter’s). I have re-done decoys using various methods and it is always more work and expense than it is worth.
